DESCRIPTION: In 2010 and 2011, Kennedy High School’s football seasons ended short when too many players became academically ineligible. The school had a 35 percent dropout rate. But administrative and coaching changes turned the school and the team around. In 2012, every player on the football team stayed academically eligible for the entire season. The team just missed making it into the playoffs, but the hard work of the coaches, teachers and players carries on into the next season and for some college. Congratulations Eagles.
